The Canadian arm of Rouge Media, Rouge Media Group, has been acquired by Rogers Sports & Media.
Since it was launched in 2003, Rouge Media Group has grown into a leading place-based out-of-home (OOH) company within Canada and the U.S. The company operates static and digital-based signage within universities, college campuses, resto-bars, and salons.
“We are proud our Canadian OOH networks, partnerships, and Rouge Canada team are now part of Rogers Sports & Media,” said the company’s CEO, Martin Poitras. “Our assets and networks will be in good hands and a strong media complement within the Rogers omnichannel portfolio.”
Rouge Media Inc., will continue to operate its national campus and women networks in the U.S.
