1. From now through May, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is featuring special installations of polka dot graphics to tie in with artist Yayoi Kusama’s popular Infinity Mirrors exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO).
2. To better meet its customers’ visual communications needs, the DPI Group in Drummondville, Que., has installed a Jeti Ceres roll-to-roll (RTR) printer and a Jeti Titan HS flatbed press, both manufactured by Agfa Graphics in Mississauga, Ont.
3. Commercial graphics continue to be a major driver for the global automotive wrap films market, which will experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of five per cent through 2021, according to research and advisory firm Technavio.
4. Global News has extended its partnership with Pattison Onestop, becoming the official news content and information provider for Calgary Transit and the TTC’s digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising networks.
5. Go Mobile Media is expanding its Shop Shuttle program, which offers transportation for mall customers in electric vehicles wrapped with advertising graphics, from Ontario to British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec and Nova Scotia.
