• The ShopBot Buddy® is designed for industrial, commercial or residential applications involving cutting in wood, plastics, and aluminum.
• It incorporates many of the same features as ShopBot’s full-size industrial systems, yet weighs less than 272 kg (600 lb) and occupies as little as 1.5 m2 (16 sf) of floor space.
• It comes with optional casters for ease of movement for different applications in the shop.
• Uses a moving deck and is available with a 0.6 x 0.8-m (24 x 32-in.) or 0.6 x 1.2-m (24 x 48-in.) work area, which can easily be expanded with the PowerStick attachment to lengths up to 2.4 m (8 ft).
• Delivered pre-assembled and ready to plug in and use.
• The Buddy is available in two versions:
  (a) The high-performance PRSalpha for professional high-volume production, with increased speed for some operations and closed-loop reliability
  (b) The PRSstandard Buddy, perfect for many low-volume operations
• Both versions come fully equipped with a Z-Zeroing plate for accurate tool height setup, a dust skirt for waste removal, two powerful software programs to create CNC projects and the ShopBot Control System software to run the CNC.
