In a recent announcement, LogoJET has partnered with Canadian manufacturer TruFlat to provide pre-qualified blank media for UV inkjet, direct-to-substrate printing systems.

The collaboration brings together TruFlat, which produces precision-engineered blank media, and LogoJET, a manufacturer of industrial UV inkjet printers used for direct-to-substrate printing. Through the partnership, select TruFlat substrates will be available through LogoJET’s website as part of the company’s expanding materials offering.

The companies have pre-tested the substrates for print adhesion, consistency, and compatibility with LogoJET equipment to help reduce setup time and material uncertainty for customers. LogoJET and TruFlat have pre-tested the substrates for print adhesion, consistency, and compatibility with LogoJET equipment to help reduce setup time and material uncertainty for customers. Under the collaboration, the companies evaluate and qualify substrates to support consistent UV printing results across a range of applications.

LogoJET said the offering is designed to complement existing production methods. Customers can continue printing on their own sourced materials or use workflows such as UV direct-to-film (DTF). At the same time, the approved blank media provides an additional option for shops seeking substrates optimized for LogoJET printers.

Removing limitations

“At TruFlat, our goal has always been to remove material limitations for printers and makers,” said Karen Asselin of TruFlat Inc. “Partnering with LogoJET brings that mission to life. Their technology demands substrates that are flat, stable, and consistent. That’s exactly what TruFlat delivers. Together, we’re enabling printers to focus less on material prep and more on producing high-quality, repeatable results for their customers.”

“We are proud to work with like-minded partners who share our commitment to quality, reliability, and long-term success,” said Michele Choate, vice-president of marketing at LogoJET. “By offering pre-qualified media, we’re delivering complete, production-ready solutions that help our customers bring printing in-house with confidence.”
The partnership represents the first phase of LogoJET’s broader blank media strategy. The company plans to introduce additional substrates and materials in the future to support applications in signage, promotional products, décor, packaging, and specialty printing.
