The Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) is now accepting entries for its 2013 product-of-the-year awards. They will be handed out in October at the SGIA Expo in Orlando, Fla.

The competition is designed to recognize the most valuable and innovative new equipment and supplies currently on the market from SGIA Expo exhibitors, with a focus on those products that advance the specialty imaging industry.

All submissions must be received by SGIA by October 11, 2013. They will subsequently be judged by a select group of industry experts on October 22, the day before the expo opens.

The judging will encompass four categories:

• Digital inkjet printing media (seven sub-categories).
• Inks
• Finishing equipment and supplies (three sub-categories).
• Print output devices.
