PATTISON Outdoor gives midtown Toronto corner a digital facelift

PATTISON Outdoor Advertising and Sussex Permitting & Development Group (PDG) have completed a digital upgrade at Toronto’s Yonge Eglinton Centre, installing two 4.2 x 14.6 m (14 x 48-ft) exterior screens at the prominent Midtown Toronto intersection.
The new displays replace previous units and represent a 29 per cent increase in available advertising space. Engineers built the screens with 10 mm (0.3 in.) surface-mounted device (SMD) technology to deliver consistent visibility in both daytime and nighttime conditions.
Located at one of the city’s busiest intersections, the Yonge Eglinton Centre connects directly to the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line. It serves a mix of office tenants, retailers, and nearby residential buildings. The property includes more than 150 offices across two towers and 60+ storefronts. The intersection sees approximately 60,000 pedestrians daily.
The company equips the displays with its smartAD platform, enabling campaigns to adjust creative based on real-time data inputs such as weather conditions or sports scores. The wraparound configuration also supports forced-perspective 3D creative executions.
Canadian OOH
“This project demonstrates how PATTISON Outdoor continues to set the benchmark for quality in Canadian [out-of-home] OOH,” said Steve McGregor, president of PATTISON Outdoor Advertising. “We’re proud to offer advertisers premium digital assets in one of Toronto’s most vibrant commercial and residential hubs.”
Under a multi-year agreement that began in January 2025, PATTISON Outdoor manages the digital inventory at the site as part of its broader portfolio of OOH assets across Canada.
“We are pleased to have selected PATTISON Outdoor as our sales and marketing partner on this exciting opportunity,” said Paul Seaman, senior counsel/director at Sussex PDG. “As developers of premium digital assets, our long-term partnership with RioCan and the introduction of these updated displays will support tenant, advertiser, and community messaging.”
