The International Sign Association (ISA) has postponed the 2020 Sign Expo due to the developments with coronavirus (COVID-19).
The show will now be held from August 23 to 25 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Pre-conference sessions will take place on August 22.
A statement from the ISA board of directors reads: “Given the latest developments with COVID-19, the ISA board and staff were not confident we could deliver the exceptional experience the industry deserves. In addition, many of you contacted ISA staff to share your concerns. ISA’s purpose is to listen and serve the industry. We heard you.”
The ISA board believes rescheduling the expo provides the most viable solution to bring the sign, graphics and visual communication industry together to conduct business in an efficient manner.
ISA is currently working through many rescheduling details. Visit signexpo.org/expo2020 for updates. For additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Digital Signage Expo (DSE), which was scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center between March 31 and April 3, has also been postponed.
According to an email broadcast from show organizers, the expo will be rescheduled to take place in late summer/early fall stating the escalation of travel bans and COVID-19 cases dictated this decision.
“Those who were planning to attend can adjust their travel plans, and those who were afraid they were going to miss out can re-register once the new dates become available,” Exponation CEO Angelo Varrone said in the release.
DSE is working with the Las Vegas Convention Center to secure new dates and an announcement will be made in the near future. Visit www.digitalsignageexpo.net for updates.
