Digital signage veteran captivated by new role

slaforgiaCaptivate, which operates digital signage screens in office tower’s elevators and lobbies, has hired former Digital Place-based Advertising Association (DPAA) president Suzanne La Forgia as vice-president (VP) of advertising sales.

La Forgia has approximately 20 years’ experience in advertising sales, including stints with HGTV, Oxygen Media and the Hallmark Channel. After leading DPAA from 2008 to 2010, where she was instrumental in raising awareness of digital signage as an advertising medium, she continued to work in the industry with companies like RMG Networks and Screenvision.

Captivate recently renewed an agreement with 12 office towers in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto and added two new ones, including RBC Waterpark 3 in Toronto and Deloitte Tower in Montreal.
