HP introduces new textile for large-format printing

HP Light Fabric is a knitted polyester textile for durable aqueous ‘latex’ inkjet printing that is wrinkle-free, scratch-resistant and flame retardant. Designed as an alternative to polyvinyl chloride (PVC), HP Light Fabric allows sign shops to produce banners for special events, point-of-purchase (POP) displays and exhibits.

Roland DGA introduces improved desktop cutter

Roland DGA has released a new desktop cutter, the Camm-1 GS-24. With speeds of 510 mm (20 in.) per second, it offers improved precision and cutting power over previous models. The device includes a redesigned cutting carriage and blade holder, a new liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and 10 times the overlap cutting capabilities of earlier versions.
