A new chapter for Cieslok Group in Canada’s OOH market

Jorg Cieslok has returned to Canada’s out-of-home (OOH) advertising industry, leading a newly named company backed by Toronto-based private equity firm TorQuest Partners.
Announced September 16, 2026, Cieslok Group was formerly known as Branded Cities Canada and will operate as a Canadian-owned and Canadian-led business.
Cieslok began his career hand-painting billboard murals in Toronto in 1990 and later helped develop digital OOH screens at Yonge and Dundas. With more than three decades in the industry, he returns as president and CEO to lead the company’s continued growth.
The company’s portfolio includes advertising locations at Union Station, Yonge and Dundas, The Well, and along major highways in Toronto. In Montreal, its assets include ROYALMOUNT, DIX30, and several autoroutes. The network also includes West Edmonton Mall and Ottawa transit shelters, with media assets across Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Edmonton, and Ottawa.
Cieslok Group plans to expand its portfolio while investing in new technology and creative formats across Canadian markets.
“My focus is straightforward: build on what is already here, invest in the portfolio, and create media that matters to brands, landlords, and the cities we operate in,” Cieslok said in a statement.
TorQuest Partners will provide financial backing for the company’s growth.
