1. The Look Company, a visual communications provider headquartered in Barrie, Ont., has been shortlisted for three 2018 Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) Awards. The winners will be announced in May at FESPA’s Global Print Expo in Berlin, Germany.
2. The Canadian Out-of-home Marketing and Measuring Bureau (COMMB) was launched earlier this month, replacing the Out-of-home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC) and the Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau (COMB).
3. The Vancouver Airport Authority (VAA) has installed an interactive 3.8 x 2.4-m (12.5 x 7.8-ft) light-emitting diode (LED) display to entertain passengers waiting in line at Vancouver International Airport.
4. Axyz International, which manufactures computer numerical control (CNC) routers in Burlington, Ont., has announced a series of two-day expos, which will be held at its sales and demo facilities across North America.
5. Simpson Print, based in Bloomingdale, Ont., has added a SwissQprint Nyala large-format ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) light-emitting diode (LED) inkjet press to increase its in-house digital production capabilities.
