1. Sekanskin, a vehicle graphics installation business in Mississauga, Ont., has been named Canada’s regional champion in Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions’ 2015 Wrap Like A King Challenge.

2. The Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada’s (OMAC’s) interactive mapping tool, which allows users to view multiple out-of-home (OOH) networks’ coverage in a single market, has been updated to include all of its members’ complete inventories.

3. Cineplex Digital Solutions (CDS) is rolling out ‘digital hoardings,’ which add interactive screens to vacant spaces in shopping centres, starting with Cadillac Fairview’s (CF’s) Markville Mall in Markham, Ont.

4. The Macula, a Czech projection mapping company, recently staged the Sim/Nebula, a private show accompanied by the Czech Philharmonic symphony orchestra. At 45 minutes, it was reportedly the world’s longest video-mapping project to date.

5. The Look Company (TLC) in Innisfil, Ont., has installed a new Monti Antonio heat press to improve output of fabric graphics. Replacing a decommissioned model, the machine’s larger-diameter heat drum increases efficiency by 30 per cent, while also reducing power consumption.
