1. Out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm Pattison Outdoor and Samsung Canada have installed a 9.8 x 3.7-m (32 x 12-ft) landmark ‘4K’ ultra-high-definition (UHD) light-emitting diode (LED) display at Edmonton International Airport (EIA).

2. Diamond Integrated Marketing’s campaign that announced the 2017 opening of Ikea’s first store in Atlantic Canada has won the Canadian OOH Marketing and Measurement Bureau’s (COMMB’s) first annual Grand Iris Creative Award.

3. Last month’s 2018 Digital Signage Expo (DSE) in Las Vegas, Nev., delivered the highest buyer attendance percentage in the annual show’s 15-year history, with 93.3 per cent of visitors comprising system integrators, advertising and brand executives and end users.
