Built in Mississauga, Ont., the new Jeti Titan S and HS ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) wide-format printers are setting new standards in print quality, flexibility and productivity for Agfa Graphics.

The Titan S and HS, respectively, are equipped with one and two rows of Ricoh Gen 5 inkjet printheads with 1,280 nozzles. The default setup for both models is to print in cyan, magenta, yellow, key/black, light cyan, light magenta and white (CMYKLcLm+W), with an automated recirculation system ensuring optimal reliability for the white ink. Drop placement promises photorealistic image quality for point-of-purchase (POP) graphics in the art, fashion and cosmetics markets, among others.

The 2 x 3-m (6.6 x 9.8-ft) flatbed is built on a steel frame to handle three shifts a day, seven days a week. A ‘flat-to-roll’ option allows users to print on flexible media up to 3.2 m (10.5 ft) wide.
