UQAM showcases grads’ art in OOH campaign

Seven visual artists who graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) have designed new works to help promote their alma mater in an ongoing out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaign.
The seven ‘portraits’ showcase various attributes and values of UQAM’s six faculties and school of management in the second phase of the campaign, which includes posters and displays in Montreal’s subway system and on college campuses.
“The idea is to show the difference of UQAM, rather than tell it,” says Donald Samson, creative director for Montreal-based ad agency Cartier Communication Marketing, which developed the OOH elements along with mobile and web components.
