Truck graphics competition opens for entries

The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) announced its 2014 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards Competition, co-sponsored by 3M Canada’s commercial graphics division, is now open for entries, with all submissions due by April 30.
The annual competition recognizes both truck fleet operators and the companies that design and install their graphics (past winner pictured). Awards are presented in seven categories: tractor-trailer, straight truck, special events/promotional, nighttime safety, light-duty commercial truck, human interest and fleet identity.
“Companies that use effective graphics while delivering their products are making the best possible use of the marketing opportunities their fleets offer,” says Bruce Richards, PMTC president. “We’re proud to promote and celebrate this aspect of the Canadian trucking community.”
The awards will be presented in June during PMTC’s annual conference in King City, Ont.
