TransLink SeaBus domination campaign connects passengers with Wi-Fi

????????????????????????????????????In Vancouver, Lamar Advertising recently launched the first wireless-fidelity (Wi-Fi) enhanced out-of-home (OOH) campaign at TransLink SeaBus terminals, promoting Shaw Communications’ WiFi Go brand on both land and water.

The campaign started in March and is ongoing. Posters, turnstile wraps and floor graphics are featured throughout the terminals, inviting commuters to enjoy free Wi-Fi service, while seat decals and vertical posters are showcased on ferries crossing the Burrard Inlet, where access will be expanded in the coming months.

“This groundbreaking transit ad initiative is an excellent example of how OOH complements mobile and wireless technology,” says Byron Montgomery, Lamar’s regional vice-president (VP) and general manager (GM) for British Columbia. “We are excited to help the Shaw brand connect with consumers.”
