The Printing House (TPH), which specializes in short-run, on-demand production of signs, banners and other graphics at more than 70 locations across the country, has been recognized for the second year as one of Canada’s ‘greenest’ employers.
Announced shortly before Earth Day, the special designation honours TPH’s combination of volunteerism (such as employees planting trees, pictured) and ecologically sensitive operations. In 2017, by way of example, TPH purchased 93.7 per cent of its paper from environmentally certified sources.
“Our continued goal is to get to 100 per cent,” says Andrew O’Born, vice-president (VP) of business development.
“We remain committed to educating our teams about environmentally responsible choices and we will use our influence to raise awareness,” says Jamie O’Born, president.
