Solar-powered, illuminated sidewalk signs are now available for Canadian business and store owners. Sunsigns will be sold through EM Plastic & Electric Products Ltd as the nationwide wholesale distributor.

Manufacturer Sunsign Controls, a New Jersey-based company, says that unlike traditional A-frame and sidewalk signs, its solar-powered signs are automatically illuminated at dusk. Sunsigns feature bright, uniform, double-sided illumination across the entire graphic display area.

Sunsigns remain stable in demanding outdoor conditions and cannot be tipped or blown over. The design also allows for the graphics to be changed easily. The signs do not require trenching, wiring, electricity, or permanent installation. They are fully portable and can be repositioned as per traffic patterns or operational needs. Solar power allows Sunsigns to operate independently of the grid.

Sunsign pricing ranges from $1,195-$1,495 per unit, depending on quantity.
