Go Miyazaki, president and chief operating officer (COO) of Fujifilm North America, is now president and CEO. He has also been named corporate vice-president (VP) of the parent company, Fujifilm, in Tokyo, Japan.

In his realigned executive role, Miyazaki is responsible for four North American operating divisions, including graphic systems, imaging, electronic imaging and optical devices, and for one North American subsidiary, Fujifilm Canada.

“During the past several years, as my role has expanded here in North America, I have had the opportunity to work with a growing number of associates and customers throughout Canada and the U.S.,” he says. “I look forward to further developing these relationships and managing our company’s vision effectively as it continues to evolve.”

Miyazaki joined Fujifilm in 1981 and held key positions in international sales, marketing and product development in Japan, the U.K., Germany and the U.S. over the years.
