New transit ad agreement begins in Sherbrooke, Que.

The Societé de Transport de Sherbrooke (STS) has chosen Quebecor’s out-of-home (OOH) media subsidiary to manage and operate the advertising spaces on its 88 buses and 28 transit shelters over the next 10 years, starting this month.

In addition to opening creative opportunities for advertisers and maximizing revenue for the transit agency’s bus fleet renewal plan, as part of the agreement, Quebecor will introduce new services, including commuter access to real-time bus schedules.

“Our partnership with Quebecor stems from our commitment to support innovation and integrate new technologies to keep transit users informed,” says STS president Marc Denault.

“We are putting our expertise and experience at the disposal of STS to help this network go digital and reach its full potential,” says Claude Foisy, vice-president (VP) of Quebecor OOH.
