Mutoh America, which manufactures large-format inkjet printers and cutters, has promoted Ryan Arakaki to advertising and events manager and hired Mark Rugen as director of training and education.
Arakaki has been with Mutoh’s marketing team for more than two years, working under the guidance of sales and marketing director David Conrad. In his new role, he will continue to work alongside the product, training and sales teams and rely on his experience in social media, graphic design, co-ordinating events and working one-on-one with customers.
Rugen joins Mutoh with more than 30 years’ experience in the sign industry, having held training roles with SA International, Neschen Americas and Acco Brands and offering third-party services through GiveMeHelp.com. He will now develop educational programs for Mutoh’s ‘eco-solvent,’ dye sublimation, ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) and textile printers.
