Media sales veteran a clear fit for OOH

[1]Out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm Clear Channel Canada has hired Bill McDonald as vice-president (VP) of national sales. He will oversee teams in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

McDonald joins the company with more than 25 years’ experience in the media sector, including work for Rogers, Quebecor, Metro Newspapers and Flyergo.

“We are extremely lucky someone of Bill’s calibre and experience was on the market,” says Adam Butterworth, president of Clear Channel Canada. “We view him as an ideal fit from a business perspective to lead our sales efforts.”

“I am glad to be joining the Clear Channel team,” says McDonald. “We will continue to build on our position in the OOH space, providing compelling opportunities for our partners.”
