INEO, a B.C.-based developer of in-store digital advertising solutions, recently launched its largest advertising campaign to date with Western Media Group.

The campaign is the result of a previously announced partnership between Western Media Group and Encorp Pacific (Canada). Commonly known as Return-It, it is a federally incorporated, not-for-profit, product stewardship corporation focused on beverage container management in British Columbia.

Return-It’s mandate is to develop, manage, and improve systems to recover used packaging and end-of-life products from consumers and ensure they are properly recycled and not land-filled or incinerated.

INEO uses patented technology to integrate digital screens into theft detection sensor gates at retail store entrances. Its cloud-based platform uses Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to deliver customized, demographics-based digital advertising to retail locations.

“Retail media networks are taking a large bite out of the digital marketing industry,” says Kyle Hall, CEO of INEO. “INEO’s in-store retail media network is capitalizing on this shift in advertisement spending by giving advertisers access to the retail customer across both online and in-store channels. A great example is the new Return-It campaign, which is now running on the INEO Media Network.”
