Halifax standardizes region-wide place-based media
The Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) has begun standardizing digital signage across a variety of public and community venues with a cloud-based multimedia publishing and management software platform.
HRM has chosen Charlottetown-based ScreenScape Networks’ visual communications platform to run and share public messaging—including health bulletins and event promotions—on digital screens at municipally owned facilities, tourist attractions, cultural venues and recreation centres. Sites within the network range from the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal to the Neptune Theatre.
“ScreenScape helps us bring our message to audiences clearly, with well-timed advertising,” says Jennie King, Neptune’s director of sales and marketing. “Now we can share messages not only on monitors in our venue, but also with the broader community.”
“As more businesses in the region have turned on ScreenScape over the past few years, HRM has recognized the value and efficiency of being part of a common platform,” says Mark Hemphill, founder and CEO of ScreenScape.
