Graphics cover Toronto for Contact Photography Festival

Toronto’s 22nd annual Contact Photography Festival is now on, with curated works by acclaimed and emerging artists featured across the city, including site-specific public art installations using digitally printed wide-format graphics.

With the support of Beyond Digital Imaging (BDI), 3M Canada, Four By Eight Signs, Pattison Outdoor Advertising and 3M Canada, this year’s festival—which runs for the entire month of May—presents photos in various sign and graphic formats, including outdoor prints at the Aga Khan Park, several billboards in the city’s west end, column wraps along the Bentway (a public trail beneath the Gardiner Expressway), window graphics at the Allan Gardens (pictured, left) and sidewalk graphics and boulder wraps (pictured, right) at Ryerson University.

“As the festival continues to expand its scope with new public art commissions, an array of exceptional work is presented throughout Toronto,” says Darcy Killeen, Contact’s executive director.
