Ultraflex Systems, which supplies a range of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) media and specialty substrates for wide-format printing, has hired John Mitchell as its new sales representative for Canada.

Mitchell has 25 years’ experience in the graphic arts industry. He was most recently president of Toronto-based 3deltaE, which provided sales, marketing and technical support for eight manufacturers through a Canadian dealer channel. Previously, he was the business director in Canada for pre-press system provider CreoScitex, which had established corporate headquarters (HQ) in Vancouver.

With his background in channel management and senior-level experience, Mitchell will be responsible for furthering Ultraflex’s sales in the Canadian market.

“The industry seeks proven, market-ready products backed by strong, organized distribution,” he says. “Ultraflex has more than 50 flexible sign materials in stock across North America and a team focused on customer service, ready for rapid growth in Canada.”
