GM brings broadcast experience to digital signage

[1]Leyard and Planar, which produce, distribute and support video walls and other large-format digital signage applications, have hired Kathy Skinski as general manager (GM) for broadcast and media.

Skinski has more than 20 years’ experience in the TV and digital media industry, have worked with Cable News Network (CNN), Time Warner Cable and the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). In her new role, she will pursue opportunities for broadcasters to use Leyard and Planar’s liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and light-emitting diode (LED) displays, following projects through from concept to installation.

“We are thrilled to have Kathy join the team,” says Adam Schmidt, executive vice-president (EVP) of sales and marketing for Leyard and Planar. “Her years of hands-on experience are invaluable as we build upon our success in state-of-the-art broadcast and media displays technologies.”
