Fujifilm North America Corp.’s graphic systems division has announced a collaboration with Zund America Inc.
The partnership will enable Fujifilm’s print service provider (PSP) customers access to Zund’s collection of cutting technologies and methods for packaging, marketing materials, and signage.
“We are pleased to work alongside Zund America Inc., to answer the needs of our customers looking for cost-effective, successful cutting solutions,” said Todd Zimmerman, Fujifilm’s graphic systems division president. “As we move into the future of printing, and as integration and automation become increasingly important, it was critical for us to continue to evolve as it relates to finishing. Together, we will offer specialized resources for professionals who need to deliver high quality and diverse products under tight turnarounds in an evolving market.”
Under this new partnership, Fujifilm will market and sell all of the digital cutting systems available from Zund America Inc., to PSPs in the U.S. and Canada—offering a complete solution across multiple print markets, including sign and display and packaging.
Additionally, Zund UK announced a new innovative solution-based partnership with Inca Digital, a company whose products Fujifilm’s graphic systems division distributes exclusively in the Americas. According to the Zünd website, this collaboration further enables customers to “fully benefit from a complete workflow solution from prepress automation, cloud-based setup, print job completion, and direct-to-cut finishing.”
