Kwik Kopy Design and Print Centre in Charlottetown, P.E.I., installed a new Anapurna M2540 FB printer from Agfa Graphics.

The shop offers a wide range of services, including design, on-demand printing, digital production, wide-format graphics, copying and offset printing, producing everything from direct mail to posters and banners to trade show displays and large-format signs.

The M2540 is an ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) flatbed inkjet printer that can reportedly output up to 45 m² (484 sf) per hour in express mode for draft and layout jobs, 28 m² (301 sf) per hour in production mode, 17 m² (182 sf) per hour in poster mode and 8 m² (86 sf) per hour in photo-quality mode. It can handle rigid media and sheets up to 2.5 x 1.5 m (100 x 61 in.), for such applications as point-of-purchase (POP) displays, backlit posters, interior décor, exhibition graphics and posters.
