Montreal-based screenprinting and digital printing shop Vivimar Creations has installed a Scitex TJ8600 industrial press from HP Canada to provide faster turnarounds and expanded services.

“Our clients are demanding quicker work at competitive prices,” says David Martin, co-owner. “This investment allows us to meet these demands with high-quality, long-lasting prints.”

The TJ8600 complements Vivimar’s existing digital printing production line, which includes a Scitex FB7600 industrial printer. It will be used to customize jobs for Vivimar’s customers in industries like retail and manufacturing.

“Our clients are always pleased with the ability to tailor each print job, as opposed to the one-size-fits all approach,” says Martin.

While the TJ8600 can produce graphics up to 1.65 x 3.7 m (65 x 145 in.), Vivimar is also using it for smaller-sized projects.
“For posters and multiple visuals, it offers manageable workflow for smaller, intricate print jobs,” Martin says.
