- Automaker Ford redesigned and simplified its custom vehicle graphics website (www.fordcommercialgraphics.com), which allows businesses to design, quote and share wraps, which are then produced by 3M. Custom options are available for the new Ford Transit family of vehicles (pictured).
- The International Sign & Printmakers Guild (ISPG) has relaunched a former SA International website (www.sign.com) as a new e-commerce site that directs buyers to local sign shops in the ISPG network.
- Dimensional letter, logo and plaque manufacturer Gemini redesigned its website (www.signletters.com) with a complete product showcase, videos, photo galleries, sign design tools, order tracking and catalogue downloads. Customers can also log into the ‘Sign Pro’ area for exclusive content.
- Stimpson, which manufactures metal grommets, eyelets, hole plugs, snap fasteners and related attaching machines for the sign industry, has updated its website (www.stimpson.com) with new product sections, guides and online catalogues.
- Montreal-based software developer BroadSign International launched a series of educational videos about digital signage, beginning with ‘The Basics of BroadSigning: The Impending Android Invasion’ and ‘Digital Place-based Arms Race.’ They are available through the company’s website (www.broadsign.com).
- Mikon Engineering launched CNC Router Store, an e-commerce site (www.cncrouterstore.ca) where computer numerical control (CNC) router owners can order parts and consumables. The site features expert recommendations, blog posts, industry information and vendor catalogues.
- The Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC) added creative guideline reference sheets for indoor, outdoor and transit advertising to its website (www.omaccanada.ca).
- Sign mounting hardware manufacturer Gyford StandOff Systems announced a new website (www.standoffsystems.com) that allows clients to specify and quote their own orders. The site features an online shopping cart, extensive photo and video galleries and a live customer support chat option.
- Wide-format printer supplier Durst redesigned its Americas website (www.durstus.com) to be more comprehensive, up-to-date and easier to navigate.
- In response to customers’ changing online-browsing habits, Laminators optimized its website (www.laminatorsinc.com) for viewing on mobile devices.
- ValueVinyls has enhanced its website (www.valuevinyls.com) to make it easier for visitors to find specific products and services.
