Edmonton Signarama shows signs of support for non-profits
September 25, 2013

Edmonton’s Signarama franchise recently announced the 2013 recipients for its Signs of Support program. Now in its fourth year, the grant program offers free or discounted signage each year to local non-profit organizations.
“We are happy to help out in this way,” says Colin Reid, Signarama’s Edmonton franchisee. “Signage is often the last thing non-profits figure into their budgets, but it can be one of the most important pieces in the marketing puzzle.”
Reid earmarked $10,000 worth of signage for the following nine charitable and civic organizations:
- Westend Seniors Activity Centre—New overhead building entrance sign (pictured with facility manager Steve Renaud, left, and Reid, right).
- Al Shamal Shriners Hospitals for Children—2013 Golf Tournament signage.
- Ortona Gymnastics Club—Magnetic vehicle signage.
- The Mark Mercier Foundation—2013 Golf Tournament signage.
- Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) Thrift Shop—Discounted window displays.
- Sustainable Food Edmonton—Discounted post-and-panel signage and vehicle decals.
- 630 CHED Santas Anonymous—Discounted sandwich boards and other directional signage.
- Duke and Duchess Animal Rescue Society—Discounted trade show displays.
- Canadian Paraplegic Association (CPA) Alberta—Discounted 2013 Golf Tournament signage.
