COC sings new tune with digital signage

img_0206-norma-and-ariodanteBT/A Advertising and Cineplex Digital Media (CDM) have installed a new interactive multimedia wall for the Canadian Opera Company (COC) in the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in downtown Toronto.

The 2.5-m (98-in.) multi-touch screen went live on Oct. 6, when COC opened its 2016/2017 season with Bellini’s Norma. Patrons can learn about programming through video trailers and trivia, while also generating on-screen content by posting about their COC experience on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. In addition to the screen itself, the permanent fixture includes two webcams for photo-capture applications.

“We are confident audiences will be impressed, engaged and inspired by this new interactive wall,” says Nick Prigioniero, president of CDM.
