NFL team commissions world’s largest LED video displays

Daktronics is planning the world’s largest high-definition (HD) light-emitting diode (LED) video displays. The two 18.3 x 110.3-m (60 x 362-ft) displays will be installed at either end of EverBank Field, home to the National Football League’s (NFL’s) Jacksonville Jaguars.

Dimensional letter, logo and plaque manufacturer Gemini has introduced a fully automated robotic process at its facility in Neustadt, Ont., for machining the mounting locations for light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on the back of halo-lit signage, allowing the company to reduce both production times and prices for its custom-cast letters and logos.

Entro, a Toronto-based environmental graphic design (EGD) firm, has created a new wayfinding and interpretive sign system for the Riverwood Conservancy, a 60.7-ha (150-acre) property established in Mississauga, Ont., in 1985.
