February 3, 2017

The winners of the 2017 Digi Awards were recently announced, including two representatives of the Canadian digital signage industry. The annual awards recognize resellers, integrators and service providers.

Montreal-based Telecine Multimedia won the best ambient content award for a holiday event project, which involved synchronizing and projecting images based on its employees’ movements on 14 windows of its offices at night (see video).

Meanwhile, Omnivex, a digital signage software developer based in Concord, Ont., won two awards, including best transportation deployment for John Glenn Columbus International Airport and best retail rollout for Carhartt’s clothing stores.
