Branded Cities Canada dominates OOH Showdown

Out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm Branded Cities Canada, previously known as Clear Channel Outdoor Canada (CCOC), won four awards at the Ad Club of Toronto’s sixth annual OOH Showdown last month.

Held on Sept. 14 at downtown Toronto’s Arcadian Court, the showdown pitted Canadian OOH campaigns from the past year against each other in a total of nine categories. Branded Cities’ projects won in (pictured clockwise from upper left) the non-traditional OOH, street-level/transit-transportation, multi-platform and large-format static billboard categories.

“It’s a great honour,” says Adam Butterworth, president of Branded Cities. “We could not have won without the collaboration of our media agency clients, who brought forward clever, fun and impactful campaigns that used our assets effectively.”
