Amnesia hopes customers won’t forget OOH ads

Montreal-based out-of-home (OOH) advertising firm Zoom Media has announced a new partnership with the Amnesia retail group of 20 fashion stores in Quebec. The local division of Billabong International operates under both the Amnesia and Element brands.

Zoom will begin by installing its ‘classic’ poster ads in the stores, then offer the capability to augment campaigns further by applying graphics to the store windows, counters, fitting rooms, floors and other surfaces. OOH clients will also be able to combine their ads with product samplings, special events and other media integration opportunities.

“Amnesia’s young consumers are open-minded to brands that reflect their lifestyle,” says Eric Fortin, Zoom’s vice-president (VP) of operations and development. “We look forward to seeing advertisers take full advantage of the creative flexibility offered in these boutiques.”

With the new partnership, the stores join the Zoom Fashion network of approximately 500 retail locations across Canada.
