Pressure-sensitive adhesive film manufacturer Mactac has appointed Ed T. LaForge president for its operations in North and South America. He will report to Guido Alvino, president of Mactac’s global business.
LaForge has spent 23 years with the company, including 15 years in senior leadership roles. Most recently, he was vice-president (VP) of sales and marketing for the Americas. As president, he succeeds Jim Peruzzi, who decided to pursue other interests after Mactac was sold by parent company Bemis to Platinum Equity in 2014.
“We are very pleased that Ed, a seasoned industry veteran, will lead Mactac forward in North and South America,” says Alvino. “His strong leadership, expertise and operational and financial experience will be instrumental in driving continued growth.”
