  • The Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada (OMAC) released an update to its web-based dynamic mapping tool, including all of its member companies’ advertising products and networks reflected in the Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau’s (COMB’s) more recent data report. Customized market coverage maps for Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal are available to ad planners through OMAC’s website (www.omaccanada.ca).
  • Bayer MaterialScience’s specialty film manufacturing business has launched a new website (www.bayerfilms.com) to consolidate information about its polycarbonate, thermoplastic polyurethane (PU), blended, coated and multi-layer films in one place. Previously, the films were spread across numerous Bayer business units.
  • The Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA), which manages international events for the digital printing and screenprinting industries, revamped its website (www.fespa.com) with free access to new webinars, technical resources and an event directory, along with member access to special presentations, economic surveys and tips for sustainable printing.
  • Aluminum composite panel manufacturer Laminators has begun to use social media—including Facebook and LinkedIn—to connect with communities of signmakers, digital print shops, installers, architects and contractors.
  • Plastic film manufacturer, converter and distributor Transilwrap redesigned its website (www.transilwrap.com) to better help visitors find specific products, related data sheets, technical and processing tips and upcoming industry event listings. Customers can also check the status of their orders.
  • Creative Banner Assemblies, a wholesale supplier of signs, banners, trade show displays, flags and finishing supplies, has launched a non-branded video site (www.creativedisplays.com) that allows dealers to demonstrate the company’s products without identifying the supplier. The videos present the easiest ways to assemble these products.
  • Sign film converter and distributor FDC Graphic Films has redesigned its website (www.fdcfilms.com) for better user functionality, adding a product selector toolbar, a searchable product database and a distributor locator covering both the U.S. and Canada.
