La Pub Express in Quebec City has installed an Acuity Advance wide-format inkjet press—including white ink and roll-media options—and ColorGate raster image processor (RIP) from Fujifilm Canada to help broaden its product line.

The company is known for producing graphic panels, vehicle wraps, banners, pop-up displays and dimensional letters. Its in-house finishing services include lamination, binding and stapling.

“Our new Acuity allows us to expand our services in the Quebec market by giving us much higher quality with variable-dot printing and the flexibility of white ink,” says Marc Jacques, owner. “We can print directly onto rigid materials, saving us time and costs. This lets us serve our customers more quickly.”

Another factor in the decision was Fujifilm’s local support.
“Sales and technical service based in Quebec City made this an easy choice for us,” says Jacques.
