Roland DG debuts new tagline in global rebrand

Roland DG Corporation, a provider of digital printing solutions, announced a global brand refresh under the tagline “Make Your Mark,” alongside several new hardware and software products.
The updated branding, set to roll out across Roland DG’s worldwide business units, emphasizes delivering complete solutions that combine advanced hardware, high-performance supplies, intelligent software, and service. The “Make Your Mark” message focuses on supporting creators and producers across industries, from print professionals and manufacturers to entrepreneurs and makers.
Stephen Davis, Roland DG’s director of global marketing—brand and communications, said the refresh highlights the confidence and pride users take in their work: “Make Your Mark is about recognizing the pride people take in what they create. Our customers don’t just want tools that work. They want the confidence to put their name to the output, knowing it will stand the test of time. This refresh gives us a way to express the role Roland DG plays in helping people do exactly that.”
Insights from extensive customer interviews and surveys identified confidence, longevity, and pride as key drivers in purchasing decisions. Further, a study by market assessment firm, Keypoint Intelligence, stated that 47 per cent of new investments are prompted by diversification into new applications and customer-driven demand. These internal and external insights helped shape the company’s identity.
Turning ideas into reality
The refreshed visual and verbal identity places customers at the centre, using a more expressive colour palette and consistent product branding. Roland DG aims to support users in turning ideas into reality and expanding into new market segments.
Kohei Tanabe, president of Roland DG Corporation, said the refresh builds on the company’s heritage of creativity and innovation, while reflecting evolving customer needs and industry trends. “Make Your Mark is about enabling people to leave a positive impression—in their work, in their businesses, and in the world around them—and supporting them with the reliable solutions and partnership they need to do so,” Tanabe said.
The brand refresh will appear across Roland DG’s digital channels and at major international trade events, including the ISA Expo in Orlando, Fla., from April 8–10 and FESPA in Barcelona, Spain, from May 19–22.
Roland DG also introduced the first product under the refreshed brand: the TrueVis VG4 Series with TR3 inks, designed for refined image quality and smarter eco-solvent print and cut production.
