General Formulations (GF), a global manufacturer of pressure-sensitive media, film, and laminates, has appointed Andrew Bishop as vice-president (VP) of sales.

Bishop will oversee sales strategy, customer engagement, and team development across GF’s global distribution network. He brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, strategy, and organizational development.

Before joining GF, Bishop was president of RecogNation, a Baudville Brands Company, leading sales and customer experience initiatives. Earlier, he served as executive vice president and director of sales and marketing at Jarob, Inc., a custom fabricator and large-format digital printer.

Bishop has a long history with GF products, having used them early in his career. “I was always impressed with the quality of the materials and the organization behind them. General Formulations has an experienced and talented team, products that speak for themselves, and a service model that is truly second to none,” he said.

Bishop holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Murray State University and is a Certified Recognition Professional through Recognition Professionals International.

Mike Clay, GF president, expressed enthusiasm about Bishop’s leadership, saying, “We’re excited to have

his energy and leadership as we continue to grow. This is an exciting step forward for our company, and I’m confident the future is bright with Andrew joining our team.”
