PATTISON Outdoor opens 4th annual DEI-focused media grant

PATTISON Outdoor has opened submissions for the 4th Annual Elevating Voices Media Grant, inviting not-for-profit and charitable organizations with a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) focus to apply. The program offers up to $1 million in combined media value to selected organizations across Canada.
The Elevating Voices Media Grant was established to provide organizations supporting underrepresented groups with access to PATTISON’s OOH networks, including transit, airports, billboards, digital, and place-based platforms. Eligible groups include those serving ethno-cultural communities, Indigenous peoples, 2SLGBTQI+ communities, women, and people with disabilities.
Since launching in 2023, the grant has supported 19 organizations, providing access to Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising to raise awareness of DEI initiatives. Both local and national organizations are eligible. The objective is to help these groups reach the communities they serve and increase public understanding of their work. In 2025, the program awarded grants to nine organizations, the highest number to date. Interested organizations can review submission criteria and apply through PATTISON’s online portal. The deadline is Friday, January 30, 2026.

Community impact
The 2025 recipients of the grant expressed their gratitude to PATTISON for helping elevate and amplify their work and reach.
UNITI used its $100,000 media grant to support its Campaign for Harmony, which promotes inclusion for people with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. Connor Brodie, UNITI’s manager of donor engagement and campaign operations, said, “PATTISON Outdoor Advertising has been an incredible partner in helping us amplify our Campaign for Harmony. Their generous ad grant of $100,000 has allowed us to share our dream of an inclusive community and ensure that all of our neighbours understand the important work that we are doing. They guided us through strategic decisions on where and when to place our ads, ensuring maximum impact.”
BlackNorth Initiative applied its grant to amplify initiatives addressing systemic anti-Black racism. CEO Dahabo Ahmed-Omer noted, “The Elevating Voices Media Grant came at a defining moment in BlackNorth Initiative’s fifth-year journey. Pattison’s support allowed us to put our message in front of Canadians where they live and move—amplifying our summit and gala, and driving fresh attention to our scholarships, homeownership, and youth programs.”
