Magnetic 3D, which develops autostereoscopic three-dimensional (3-D) digital signage displays, has appointed Michael Dorin chief operating officer (COO). He was previously vice-president (VP) of business development and operations.

In the past, Dorin has led research and development (R&D) efforts, fostered new methods for visualizing real-time information in 3-D and steered the company to service clients directly, as well as marketing through reseller channels.

“He played a crucial role in the development and advancement of Magnetic 3D over the past couple of years,” says Tom Zerega, founder and CEO. “I feel Michael is a tremendous asset and his appointment as COO will benefit the company as we proceed toward future endeavours.”

In his new role, Dorin will oversee marketing, communications, R&D, public relations (PR) and corporate development.
