- Aurora Specialty Textiles Group, which manufactures fabrics for graphics, has won a Specialty Graphics Imaging Association (SGIA) Sustainable Recognition Award (pictured) for the third consecutive year, recognizing its energy-saving and emission-lowering capital investments and reduction of steam trap and air line leaks.
- Montreal-based digital signage software developer BroadSign International has marked its 10th anniversary with ‘BroadSign X,’ the 10th edition of its platform.
- Photoluminescent safety sign and printable substrate developer American Permalight celebrated its 25th anniversary in March.
- Toronto-based Coxcom has now been deploying video screens for 15 years, including digital signage for the past 10 years. The firm continues to install digital out-of-home (DOOH) displays across Canada for clients like Stratacache, Westbury National, Cineplex Digital Solutions and the clothing retailer Mark’s.
- Laminators is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Founded by Joseph Thompson in 1963, the company started out making chalkboards and bulletin boards. Today, it offers aluminum composite panels for signage and architecture.
- Digital signage software provider Visix won four Communicator Awards and two Hermes Creative Awards for its designers’ work on interactive wayfinding and multimedia signage.
- FDC Graphic Films, which converts and distributes sign films, heat-transfer films, wide-format media and overlaminates, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
- Direct-to-textile printer manufacturer Kornit Digital is celebrating its 10th anniversary, its presence in 100 countries and the installation of its 1,000th printer.
- Digital out-of-home (DOOH) media firm enVu , a subsidiary of Stratacache, celebrated one billion consumer ‘impressions’ through its enSpire interactive mall advertising platform.
- Pressure-sensitive plastic and film coater and distributor Catalina Graphic Films has celebrated its 45th anniversary. The company was founded in 1968 and purchased its first pressure-sensitive adhesive coating line in 1972.
- Flexible digital display manufacturer NanoLumens has been named one of the Technology Association of Georgia’s (TAG’s) top 10 innovative technology companies in the state.
- Gyford StandOff Systems, which provides sign mounting hardware, is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
