1. Metrolinx, a provincial agency that integrates transportation in Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe region, has awarded a tender to TG Baker Americas to supply 1.2-m (47-in.) outdoor passenger information displays to train stations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

2. Book publisher Penguin Random House Canada recently opened a new retail store in downtown Toronto, the Penguin Shop, featuring bright, colourful signage and décor from local interior design firm Figure3.

3. Maxim Derhak, principal colour scientist for wide-format printing raster image processor (RIP) software developer Onyx Graphics, was recently honoured with a major industry award and a patent for establishing ink use in process channels.
