Ontario credit union implements in-branch digital signage

Hamilton-based FirstOntario Credit Union has selected AdFlow Networks in nearby Burlington, Ont., to implement digital signage in its branches for communications with customers, including street-facing content.
The new network’s messaging will highlight FirstOntario’s financial services and products, showcase community involvement initiatives and display up-to-the-minute rate changes as indicated in the market. With these purposes in mind, AdFlow has configured dual-feed media players specifically for the credit union.
New branches have been outfitted with a minimum of two screens each, which are installed in waiting areas, teller areas and vestibules. Older locations have also been retrofitted. The goal is to transition all branches by 2015 and eventually introduce interactive stations.
