Wide-format graphics competition goes global

Starting in 2014, the Federation of European Screen Printing Associations (FESPA) has redeveloped its awards program as an annual competition, open to all print service providers (PSPs) around the world.
The newly global competition was opened for entries in late November and will culminate in a prize ceremony on May 22, 2014, the penultimate night of FESPA Digital, a wide-format printing exhibition in Munich, Germany. PSPs can enter in 10 application categories: in-store, outdoor, interior, functional decoration, garment, integrated, sustainable, special effect, fine art and vehicle decoration.
Submissions will be judged by an independent panel, including print buyers, fellow PSPs and other industry experts. They will consider excellence in print quality, creativity, technical expertise, customers’ return on investment (ROI) and the appropriate use of techniques, design and media.
