Canadian sign show raises funds for SickKids

The Sign Association of Canada (SAC) reports its annual golf tournament, held in conjunction with the 2013 CONSAC trade show in September, raised more than $1,100 for Toronto’s SickKids Foundation.

The Don Morgan Memorial Golf Tournament took place on September 19 at the Royal Woodbine Golf Club in northwestern Toronto, not far from the International Centre in Mississauga, Ont., which subsequently hosted the remainder of CONSAC (pictured is committee chair Don Ross).

The same tournament also raised funds last year for SickKids Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable organization that raises funds on behalf of the Hospital for Sick Children in downtown Toronto. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit children through research, education and the purchase of medical equipment.
